Relocation assistance
As a Consultant II, you will consult with clients on comprehensive service line workflows, including current state and future state, and work with clients to map out stop-start-continue processes to determine how the system will be designed and tested. You will identify, resolve and report solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership, coach client on data collection and system design requirements, and analyze to determine optimal solution build and implementation Consult with internal project and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines and project updates, and verify configuration requests. You will maintain client relationships and navigate through conflict and complex relationship situations to achieve business objectives, coach and mentor associate consultants, and support internal team initiatives.
Working Environment
Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 1 year healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience.
    • At least 4 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Expectations:

  • Willing to travel up to 40-60% as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
