To pursue large, digitally transformative wins, we are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to join our Business Development and Capture team for a leadership position within Regulated Industries. The Cloud Solution Architect drives the technical Strategy for capturing large transformation deals from business development through proposal and the award stages of the sales cycle. Responsibilities
- Lead, collaborate, and demonstrate technical solution development for upcoming large deals associated with Federal and State and Local Government.
- Coordinate and support face-to-face customer meetings with senior management and C-Level Executives with technical expertise
- Create and lead strategic efforts to identify new market space for Microsoft
- Build & Maintain Relationships within Partners – Understand the System Integrator business model and sales cycle
- Coordinate closely with sales, marketing, engineering and communications to lead new technical solutioning for new business initiatives

The solution specialist will have proven ability to map client needs to technical solutions to solve some of the most challenging requirements in support of federal and state governments. The specialist must have a deep technical understanding of Applications & Infrastructure Enterprise cloud workloads and the ability to stay up to date on new/improved Azure scenarios and workloads required. The specialist must have demonstrated experience working across matrixed teams to include sales, engineering, and others to lead and drive solutioning related to new business opportunities. The specialist must exhibit empathy, curiosity, and desire to constantly improve, acquire new skills and drive for results required in the spirit of a growth mindset. Demonstrated technical leadership through prior technical coaching/leadership roles is required.
The specialist will be an experienced, professional leader and communicator who is comfortable in front of large groups as well as senior government and industry personnel and should have a good understanding of Microsoft solutions and associated technologies, particularly Cloud. Preferred qualifications include: 8 years technology solutions experience working with the US Government; strong expertise with enterprise solutions; exceptional leadership, technical acumen, organizational, creative, presentation, written and verbal communication skills; the position may require 10-25% domestic travel with occasional international travel. Prior experience working with US Government customers is desired. Due to the nature of the U.S. Government Business, U.S. citizenship is required. Active Security clearance is a preference.
